Founded by mother and son, Susan and Sean, Acacia Designs was built on the belief that great design should reflect the way each client truly lives—layered with thoughtful details and an exceptional client experience. Drawing inspiration from the world around them, Susan and Sean shaped a firm where every project is deeply personal, intentional, and beautifully executed.
Susan brings a global perspective to every project, shaped by her American and European education and of living abroad. Her East Coast style, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for timeless, casually elegant interiors result in one-of-a-kind designs that honor each client’s story. She is a former member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) – Allied, and a former member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA).
Sean’s creative spirit and impeccable design instincts helped shape the heart of Acacia Designs. With a background in the high-end luxury market, he brought a refined eye, intuitive client understanding, and quiet brilliance to every project. His influence remains woven into the fabric of our firm—an enduring presence that continues to guide and inspire our work each day.
